North America

Zion, Banff, Monuments, Yellowstone, the Yukon, Yosemite: hallowed names in the playbook of epic outdoor destinations. What about volcanos, deserts, beaches, glaciers, extraordinary wildlife encounters, and cities that never sleep? This is one part of the world where, no matter how often you visit, your bucket list will remain as vast and diverse as the continent itself.

Our trips through the US and, more recently, Canada, have given us a compelling taste of the sheer variety of travel experiences to be had here. Since Dan’s early teen years as a SoCal high school student, we’ve road tripped iconic Route 66, had  a couple of bites of the big apple, been jazzed up in New Orleans, marvelled at meteor craters and a very grand canyon, rolled the dice in Sin City, devoured the best barbecue in the world in the Carolinas, been awed by the monuments of DC and soothed by Florida’s swaying palms. Further north, we’ve sampled the craft beer scene in the Pacific NorthWest and searched out eagles, wolves, orcas and bears in British Colombia. We’re just getting started.
