It took us years to get to Canada, despite it being right at the top of the bucket list.
It’s still on our bucket list. Because while we can now say we’ve been there, our brief trip through a tiny corner of British Columbia was a mere scratch on the surface of this huge and varied country. What we did see, though, won us over completely and left us wanting so much more.
We’re yet to write about our visit to Canada, which was built around an epic road trip through Vancouver Island. It’s a tale of eagles, wolves, bears and giant trees. Of waiting for shy orcas, kayaking with curious otters, hiking to a historic plane wreck, and learning about the long story of the region’s First Nations. Coming soon.
