Thinking of heading to Iguazu Falls? Can’t decide whether to visit the Argentinian or the Brazilian side? We vote both! While you’re essentially walking along the falls of the same great River Iguazu, the views and experiences on each side are quite different.
You’re more likely to spend longer on the Argentinian side, exploring the various nature trails and viewing points, including a boardwalk at the very top of the falls. But as most of the waterfalls are on the Argentinian side, you’ll actually get more of the panoramas from the Brazilian side, and the boardwalk out into the Devil’s Throat offers a truly epic sense of scale. The bird park on the Brazilian side is also definitely worth a visit. So if time and funds allow, we’d highly recommend a visit to both sides. In the meantime though, here’s a selection of our fave pics from each.
